How long are the lines? +
Saturdays are usually our busiest nights of the week, and lines will be much longer during the last 2 weekends in October. VIP admission is less wait time than General Admission. On most nights VIP admission is only 10-15 minutes. However the later in October the line does become longer, but you will always have a shorter wait than with General Admission.
Do you have security? +
YES! We have our own in-house security team as well as the Allegheny County Police are on property every night of operation. We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, touching of our actors or staff etc. The first violation of these rules will usually bring a warning and after the second, you will be asked to leave without a refund. However we retain the right to remove any persons or group without a warning prior. There are NO REFUNDS if you are removed from the Manor due to our own actions.
Are you open if it rains? +
YES! The manor is open rain or shine. The haunted house is indoors and outdoors. The Manor may pause if lightning strikes within 10 miles, but the manor will re-open once our safety team gives the all clear.
How long is the haunted house? +
Hundred Acres Manor is Pittsburgh’s largest haunted house, featuring a terrifying walk-through experience that can last around 40 minutes once you enter the manor doors. How fast will you move? Once you step inside Hundred Acres Manor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, be prepared to be pulled through a
time portal and face your fears in the fog-filled streets of old London, an abandoned hospital, a haunted New Orleans cemetery, a frozen mountainside crawling with snow beasts, and a twisted classic Halloween party where nightmares come to life.
Is the haunted house scary? +
YES! Hundred Acres Manor has been named one of Pennsylvania's scariest haunted house and was featured on The Travel Channel as "One of America's Scariest Halloween Attractions". We do not recommend anyone under the age of 13 attending our event, unless they are accompanied by a parent. But admission will not be denied due to age.
I got too scared and left early, can I get a refund? +
It is our job to scare you! If you are unable to complete a tour of the manor due to fright then we have done what you have paid us to do. Once your tickets have been scanned, we will not refund your ticket, no exceptions!
Do you have any age restrictions? +
We strongly recommend that children under the age of 13 do not attend our event due to the graphic nature of our attraction including but not limited to shocking scenes, gore, and actor dialog. In other words, we accept no responsibility for scaring or inducing nightmares to your little ones.
Do you accept credit cards? +
Yes, we do accept credit cards at both our ticket booth and merchandise booth. However we do suggest
buying tickets online in advance.
Is Hundred Acres Manor handicap accessible? +
Although we do our best at being ADA compliant, Hundred Acres Manor may not entirely accessible. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. You will never be denied admission and one of our safety coordinators will navigate the depths of the Manor with you and your group to help you bypass any areas that might be difficult for your wheelchair to navigate. Every wheelchair and need is different and our team will always do our best to accomidate any needs you might have.
Do you sell merchandise? +
Yes! We have an on site merchandise booth that sells limited edition shot glasses, hoodies, t-shirts & more. Plus if you get Super VIP or Legendary VIP admission tickets you get free merchandise! (Check ticketing page for items with each ticket level)
How many people enter at a time? +
It varies every night. On slower nights like weekdays (Sunday - Thursday) we run the haunted house at a slower speed and typically you enter with the group you came with (maybe a few new friends) but on weekends you will enter the haunted house in larger groups! But don't worry our actors, staff and safety team are ready for it! We spend months training our actors in the art of scaring for large and small groups!

Stepping into the Manor doors will lead you into Hollywood qualilty sets, special effects you've never seen in a haunted house and actors just waiting for the next scare. But the fun doesn't stop there, you can add on the black panel insanity maze, midway games, if you're over 21 enjoy a drink in our Scream Bar presented by Cinderlands Beer or even grab a bite to eat from the Franken Fried Food Truck! The show features new upgrades and sets every year making each year different than the next.
Is it the same as last year? +
NO! Never. The show changes every year. Sometimes its large theme changes, other times our scare crew works around the clock to create large over the top new sets, add new scares & technology as well as scare spots! You can come one weekend and than the next weekend we've added in new scares or props! We adjust our show every single year and sometimes between weekends to give you a new thrilling scare show within our house every year!
Can I hit the actors, take props, destroy rooms, or come through the haunt drunk or stoned? +
You should ask the Police Officer on duty this question. We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc. We have a list of rules just like any other business that must be adhered to for your own safety.
Will I be touched? +
We have a "no touch" policy - you don't touch us, we don't touch you. Our monsters will not grab or maul you. Touching of any of our actors, sets or props will result in removal from the haunted house and criminal charges maybe pressed. We want everyone to have fun at the Pittsburgh haunted house, but our monsters are there to scare you, not be assaulted.
Do you offer Group Rates? +
YES! For group rates you can contact Mandy our Group/Event Coordinator at Mandy@HudnredAcresManor.com or book them directly online. Group rates start at 20 people and can accommodate large company outings. Group tickets must be purchased in advance and not available at the ticket window
